Tutorial: The uniform distribution

The uniform distribution is the probability distribution that gives the same probability for all possible values. An example of this distribution is the number of points after throwing a dice: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 numbers have the same probability: 1/6.  You can find here (PDF slides) the lecture notes about the uniform distribution (and here a printer-friendly version - 4 slides per page- ), as part of the course "Statistics for Business" given by Professor Josemari Sarasola in the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of the Basque Country in Donostia.

You can also find all the course material here.
