Tutorial: The sign test

The sign test is a non parametric used to test a given median value for one sample. We may use it also to test equality of medians in paired samples. You can find here (PDF slides) the lecture notes about that issue, as part of the course "Statistics for Business" given by Professor Josemari Sarasola in the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of the Basque Country in Donostia.
