Media exposure


Media exposure is the public presentation in the media of people, facts, objects and ideas in order to give them a public projection and image. It refers especially to the frequency and duration of that presentation. It can refer to the field of business advertising, in order to publicize and convert a product into a reference to a target audience, or to the ideological field, both culturally and politically, to disseminate ideas in the media in a more or less less massive to make them part of mass culture. Regulating the extent of media exposure is important to avoid falling into overexposure, which can cause fatigue and weariness in the public, with effects contrary to those desired.
