Tutorial: Power law distributions

Power law distributions are common distributions showing a big frequency or probability for small values and small frequency or probability for big values, values and probabilities related with an inverse power law. They usually arise in data related with size and income. You can find  here (PDF slides) the lecture notes about the power law distributions, as part of the course "Statistics for Business" given by Professor Josemari Sarasola in the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of the Basque Country in Donostia.
